How to Succeed in Business – Simple and practical ways you can help your business to be more successful today.

There are so many experts on this topic and so many articles, books, blogs etc. so I am not going to suggest any fancy get rich quick magic wand. This wand and getting rich quick only exists in a very tiny area of business. Plus you rarely get to see all the hard work that was put in prior to that success, let alone any failures that may have occurred.

When we give advice at My Sassy Business it is always practical, simple and easy to follow. Our blog suggestions are always the same, we want our followers to take the ideas that work for them and run with it. Please let us know in the comments if there is something that you try.

Some simple ways to show you how to succeed in business

Build and maintain a referral network – What this means is that you need to create a loyal group or groups of people who will use your business and refer business to you. This becomes your marketing team that is constantly working for you while you are also working. It means that while you may be a small business of one, you could have more than 30 others working for you at no cost. Remember though you must think of their businesses too when the need arises.

Write a To Do list – I to do list may just remain in your mind but if you put it on paper you are more inclined to want to cross things off as you achieve them. Or as I recently read on, have a done list too.

Outsource – I know this is a buzzword at the moment but seriously there are some great opportunities to outsource. You can choose local business or international outsourcers but make sure they are a good fit for your business. If it doesn’t work out the first time, try another or ask one of your referral partners for a recommendation.

Consistency – Across your business, social media, marketing, etc. you must deliver a consistent message. It is vital that people see and feel the brand that is your business. Without consistency how will people be able to know that your work ethics are reliable?

Have a trusted adviser or mentor Business Adviser, Business Mentor, Business Coach. Which ever of these you choose to use make sure you have one that gets you and your business! Seeing any of these types of businesses is a deeply personal experience and one that you need to feel comfortable in.

Define success for YOU – Finally it is important to know that success is different for EVERYONE. For some success is having a business they can run from home that earns them enough to buy the groceries each week. For others success means having a sports car in the garage.
