How to Start a Small Business
So, you have decided you would like to be self-employed!
You feel in your bones that you are destined to be an entrepreneur!
Choosing your own path and destiny is important to you and you are ready to be in charge of that!
You don’t have any particular skill base that you would like to use as a self-employed person.
Well there are opportunities such as a cleaning business or lawn and garden maintenance business. Or perhaps you would just like to get the basics understood and then make a decision on the type of business that you start.
It is vital that you get the basics down regardless of the type of business you are looking to start. The basics include the financials, business plan, marketing plan, policy and procedure, terms and conditions, insurance, legal representation etc.
The trouble with being an entrepreneur is that we get very exciting about the big picture and forget about the small details. Often it is easy to overlook whether or not anyone wants what you will be offering.
A simple feasibility test can answer some of this and help you to decide if you are on the right track.
Nothing beats the creation of a solid business plan that you can work through and refer back to. Add to over time and give your self a clear picture when you perhaps cannot see the full story, as you are too close.
At My Sassy Business we have produced several workbooks to help you. Included in the price is one hour of business advice to answer any outstanding questions that you may have following the completion of the workbook.
These workbooks and one to one advice are designed to give you answers to your most troubling questions so that you can begin to create the business of your dreams.
